Is TabTools free?
Yes. TabTools is free to use. No account is needed.
Which browsers can I use it with?
TabTools is available for Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. To add it on your computer, use the browser links on this page to open the right store.
How do I close tabs from the same website?
Right-click within a web page and choose “Close site tabs,” or open TabTools and click the site under Suggestions. This closes that site’s tabs across your regular windows, including the current tab. You can also enter a keyword or exact domain in the popup.
Can I remove duplicates or clear inactive tabs?
Yes. Choose Close duplicates to remove repeated pages, or click Inactive to close eligible tabs. You can change the inactivity threshold in Settings; cleanup happens when you choose the action.
Does TabTools collect or share my data?
The extension processes tab information locally and does not send it to the developer or third parties. Settings and cleanup statistics stay on your device. This website’s demo is hosted by YouTube; the embedded player and browser stores have their own privacy policies.
Can I undo a cleanup?
Use Undo immediately after closing tabs from the TabTools popup, while the popup is still open. You can also use your browser’s recently closed tabs to reopen pages.
